Risk management

Risk management is an integral part of our process and a key consideration in terms of both stock selection and the overall management of each convertibles portfolio. As our convertibles business has grown we have invested in specialist systems, including those used by our London-based independent risk management team.

By incorporating risk analytics into the investment process, employing state-of-the art risk tools, and agreeing appropriate risk limits across each fund we seek to ensure the potential for strong performance while strictly controlling and fully understanding the downside risks to which each of the funds are exposed.
